Sponsorship

I am seeking out specific corporate sponsors who share the belief that sustainable business and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand with profitability. Sponsors will benefit from the daily exposure picked up by local news media, blogs and PR events fueled by the book readings and school/library donations.  Sponsors will be able to display logos on my vehicle, name my vehicle and have marketing material distributed at stops along the route.  Sponsors may also choose to host a specific presentation/ reading event with prior logistical planning and support.  Sponsors will also be discussed at length with any media Q&A at all events as appropriate.

Grass Roots Support

Using viral widgets linking my blog to Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, friends, family and interested individuals will be able to sponsor the project by purchasing copies of the books to be donated along the way. The widgets will document my current progress and location. Book sponsors will be able to choose a specific recipient (such as a certain school, library or even individual) and personalize each book with a message and some donor info. Employing mobile communication equipment and an on-board printer, donor messages will be printed out and attached to the inside cover of each book on a daily basis.
